.RECIPE OF THE MONTH

Coconut Cream Easter Eggs

3 lb. confectioners
sugar
7 oz. flakes coconut
1/8 lb. melted butter
6 oz. evaporated milk
2 lb. melted semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 block paraffin wax
Wax paper
Cream sugar, coconut, butter and milk together.
Shape into candy egg shape and chill. Add chilled,
melted chocolate and paraffin wax in double boiler.
Dip chilled eggs into chocolate and cool on wax
paper.
NOTE: Chocolate is VERY hot - not suggested for
preparing by young children.

right contractor
is key.
1. Talk not only
to friends,
neighbors and
associates, but
also to material
suppliers, who
best know how to
separate the
wheat from the
chaff.
2. Check out
contractors at
the Better
Business Bureau
and Consumer
Affairs
Department or
your state
attorney
general's
office.
3. Ask for proof
of liability and
worker's
compensation
insurance, and
if required, a
home improvement
license. Be sure
to call
references.
4. Review the
contract
carefully so you
know how project
changes and
additional costs
will be handled.
5. Visit on of
the contractor's
current projects
to sample the
quality of his
work and
cleanup.
6. For a better
price, hire in
the off-season:
deck work in
January,
interior
remodeling in
the summer.
7. Most
important, pay
as you go, never
letting the
contractor get
ahead on money. |

How to Remove Spyware From Your
PC

These days it may seem as though the short list of unavoidable
perils ought to be expanded to include death, taxes, and
spyware. But if you ever do get infected with some nasty piece
of malware, all you need to get rid of it are the right free
tools, some time, and a little know-how.
A couple of warnings first: Removing spyware is as much art as
it is science. The rogues who create spyware make removing their
malicious programs as difficult as they can. In addition, some
types of spyware download and install additional components,
often hiding pieces of code from Windows to make removal even
harder. The instructions below will wipe out most forms of
spyware, but your machine's infestation may resist these
measures. If so, you may have to consult a professional PC
repair person. Or you can start afresh by reformatting your hard
drive and then reloading Windows, your apps, and your data files
(browse to article "Windows
